Terms and Conditions
Please read these rules carefully before registering for HTSE.
- Students studying in Classes 5 to 12 in any Government or Private school affiliated with a recognised board are eligible to register for the examination.
- Students from Hindi, English, and Semi-English mediums can participate.
- Students must appear for the Stage 2 Online Examination through an HKCL Authorised Learning Center (ALC).
- Each student can attempt only one examination and will be eligible for only one award.
- A student who receives a State-Level Award will not be eligible for a District-Level Award. Similarly, a student receiving a District-Level Award will not be considered for a State-Level Award.
- Students must appear for the examination applicable to their respective group only. For example, a student studying in Class 6 can appear only for the Group A HTSE Examination.
- If a student appears for an examination belonging to a different group, their marks will not be considered for the final result.
- Students from Hindi, English, and Semi-English mediums will be considered equally for selection. A common merit list will be prepared, and awards will not be announced separately based on the medium of instruction.
- HKCL may use participants' information for future communication, promotional, and marketing purposes, as permitted under applicable policies.
- HKCL reserves all rights relating to the conduct, administration, evaluation, and other aspects of the HKCL HTSE.
- HKCL reserves the right to modify prize amounts, examination dates, important dates, eligibility criteria, terms and conditions, or any other details of the HKCL HTSE, without prior notice.
- HKCL shall not be held liable for any loss, claim, or consequence arising from changes or modifications made to the HKCL HTSE.
